Together ith his to best friends Ron easley and Hermione Granger are fighting against dark forces like Voldemort himself and his supporters. Harry has to live together ith the Dursleys his aunt Petunia, his uncle Vernon and his cousin Dudley. But Harry, ho isnt treated by them as a real family member, sees Hogarts as his real home and the easleys, Rons family, treat him like a member of their family. Harry ould love to live ith his godfather Sirius, ho escaped from Azkaban- prison for izards and itches, but this is impossible because Sirius alays has to live hidden. To fight against the Dark Lord, Harry gets a lot of support and advices from the Hogarts headmaster Albus Dumbledore. He is one of the only persons Voldemort is afraid of. And then theres the Order of the Phoenix this order as founded to fight against Voldemort. Some of the members are Alastor Moody, Nymphadora Tonks, Remus Lupin, Sirius, Dumbldeore and the ealsley parents. Unfortunately, the Dark Lord isnt Harrys only enemy Draco Malfoy, his father is one of the Death Eaters, make him a lot of trouble. And especially in his fifth year at Hogarts he has to struggle ith the toad like and simpering Dolores Umbridge, senior undersecretary to the Minister of Magic, ho takes over the vacant position of Defence against the Dark Arts teacher. In the period of the summer holidays, Harry lives ith the despicable Dursleys in Number 4, Privet Drive, a little Street in London here only Muggels, that means not any izards or itches, live. He hates living ith them and therefore he is looking forard to go back to Hogarts School for itches and izards, hich is in the magical orld. The headquarters of the Order of the Phoenix are hidden in the magical orld. Number 12, Grimmauld Place is the ancient house of Siriuss family, the Blacks. The Book begins in the summertime and its been yet another infuriating and boring summer in Number 4, Privet Drive. Harry is feeling especially frustrated at the lack of nes from the magic orld, ondering hats happening to his friends and Sirius. He thinks that returning to Hogarts is going to be a relief, but this year is one of his darkest. Most of the students in the school seem to think Harry is either conceited or crazy for insisting that Voldemort is back and as evil as ever. And Dumbledore, somebody Harry could alays talk about his problems and got advices, is uncommunicative and moreover the head of the ministry of Magic, Cornelius Fudge, is determined to discredit Dumbledore and undermine his leadership of Hogarts. He appoints instead to nasty Dolores Umbridge as the ne Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher and High Inquisitor of the School, bringing misery upon staff and students alike. This bureaucratic nightmare, added to Harrys certain knoledge that Voldemort is becoming more poerful, creates a desperate feeling during almost the hole fifth year at Hogarts. And life isnt getting any easier for Harry, because he has an overhelming course load to prepare him for his Ordinary izarding Levels OLs examination and there are devastating changes in the Gryffindor Quidditch team line-up. Every night he has vivid dreams about long hallays and a closed door and then theres this increasing pain in his lightning-shaped scar. Also, Harry is no fifteen and the hormones are beginning to kick in. But all to his anger and disappointment he cant even tell his godfather about his problem and ask for advice, because the danger of giving the Ministry of Magic a hint here he lives is much to big. All this anger, sadness and confusedness lead to a big frustration. The book reaches its climax hen Harry has a vision in his dreams that Sirius is being killed by Voldemort in the Department of Mysteries- hich is located in the Ministry. Harry and his friends Ron, Hermione, Neville Longbottom, Ginny ho is Rons sister and Luna Lovegood break in there for trying to safe the godfather. But they cant find Sirius anyhere they only find a mysterious glass ball ith a prophecy for Harry and Voldemort. All of a sudden a dozen of Death Eaters stand behind them and order Harry to give them the prophecy. He and his friends have to run aay to get the prophecy out of the Death Eaters reach, but most of his friends get ounded on the ay out of the Department. Luckily the members of the Order of the Phoenix come to their secure. Theres a big fight and suddenly Harry feels a big pain on his scar. Voldemort himself came to get the prophecy, but hen Harry tries to run aay, the glass ball falls on the ground and breaks, but thats only a lost for Voldemort. Sirius falls into a mysterious room during a fight ith one of the Death Eaters and his never going to come back. Harry cant stand the pain of this lost and thinks its his fault, because he trusted his false vision. Lord Voldemort manages to escape, but at least Harrys friends are all alive. In the end of the book, Dumbledore tells Harry a secret he should have told him hen he came to the school five years ago. This secret makes his life even more difficult and the knoledge that the holidays and the return to the Dursleys come nearer and nearer dont push up his mood. But his friends promise him to stay in contact this time. I think one of the authors underlying intention hen riting this story as that friends have to keep together even in hard times. You cant blame your friends for all the bad things that happen in your life. Because if you let out your mood on them, they ont ant to be ith you anymore. And there comes a day hen you need your friends much more than everything else. Another message is to support your friend. Because if you support and help your friend, one day you ill get help and support back from them. Trust is also a message in the story. Because if you cant even trust your friend, ho else can you trust And to be mistrustful makes you lose your friends. I think that the unifying idea is that friendship is maybe the most important thing in live!! ...
